Invest in Cities is an environment designed to attract national and international investment towards attractive cities as regards their strategic advantages.
In its second edition, held on 12th December 2019, in Madrid, 20 cities and more than 1,000 investors have taken part. Puerta Centro - Ciudad Del Transporte has been the project highlighted by the city of Guadalajara due to its competitive position within the intermodality environment.
Alberto Rojo, major of Guadalajara, has vibrantly presented the city in general and the Puerta Centro - Ciudad Del Transporte project in particular, accompanied by Juan José Cercadillo, CEO for Hercesa, Javier Arriola, general secretary for CEOE Guadalajara, and Manuel Delgado Duce, Head of the Urban Management Department of the High Innovation Real Estate Group.
Manuel Delgado Duce was in charge of describing to the many attending investors the technical features of the project and its advantages against any competitors. He mainly pointed out the location outside the short distance train network of Madrid and the connections to the rest of the world through maritime, land, and air transport. He thanked the City Hall of Guadalajara and the Junta de Comunidades of Castile La Mancha for their management support and informed on the actual existing investments as a way to promote future ones.
The presentation of Puerta Centro - Ciudad Del Transporte ended with a video based on aerial clips showing the evolution and highlighting the magnitude of the development. The audience was very impressed by all this and the effort will surely result in many gains from a commercial point of view and generate new jobs in Guadalajara.
