Parking spaces for heavy vehicles

The proposal of Puerta Centro for the logistics sector and especially for the road transport will not be fulfilled if it did not have the necessary space for the lorry.

The urbanisation has already taken into consideration with a whole range of lines and manoeuvre radius the handling of heavy vehicles, while the proposed buildable typology has a whole range of patios of manoeuvre.

And the availability of more than 100.000 m2 of land for the parking of heavy vehicles, with the capacity for more than 800 lorries, will fulfil the generation of space put into effect for heavy vehicles.

Those parking spaces will provide 24h CCTV, maintenance and cleaning services of the vehicles, weighbridge and a small area of services for the driver with showers, lockers, restaurants, and rest areas.

Those parking spaces will be located within the proximity of both the Services Centres and the Truck Centre, functional sub-areas as a complementary measure.

At the same time, the disposition of those parking spaces leads to a better interior mobility of PC, having a dissuasive spaces for the parking of Lorries in the roads.
