Puerta Centro – is located between the municipalities of Guadalajara and Marchamalo, in the heart of Corredor del Henares, one of the most economically and demographically developed areas of Spain in the recent years and with ascendant forecast for the forthcoming decade.

From 1996 its population has increased by more than 250.000 people, reaching the figure of 700.000 inhabitants in 28 municipalities (21 of Madrid and 7 of Guadalajara), favoured by the magnificent urban residential development of the area.

The suitable infrastructures and lthe localisation in the strategic axis of Madrid – Zaragoza – Barcelona, together with the proximity to Barajas airport have led to the increment in the number of companies, among which we can highlight; sectors of chemical and pharmaceutical, metallurgical, electrical material, non-metallic industry sectors and of course, tertiary activities such as; logistic, graphic design and the aeronautic sector that have installed in the area, leading to an important increase in the demand for new industrial and logistic areas.

This social and economic development will remain sustainable during the forthcoming years because of the instigation of new infrastructures and the urban developments both residential and industrial.
